My client is currently looking to recruit an EHSQ Manager at its UK facility in Skelmersdale, Lancashire.
Offering an attractive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience plus benefits including company pension, medical cash back scheme, plus annual bonus. **The Role**
This is a standalone role, reporting directly into the VP of Operations. As EHSQ Manager you would be responsible for EHSQ across 2 UK facilities (Skelmersdale and Irlam) and would be required to split your time between sites, however predominately based inSkelmersdale 70/30 split
You would be responsible for building, shaping, leading, and implementing all Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality processes and policies across the sites. Ensuring all EHSQ requirements are up to date and relevant and correct trainings and documentationsare in place to support. You would be responsible for driving and delivering ISO9001/14001/45001 quality requirements in terms of standards and environmental permits.
**About You**
You must be a hands-on person ready to do the doing with experience of HSEQ management and relevant systems within a manufacturing facility, able to influence others through credibility and collaborative working.
You will require
- Working knowledge of ISO9001, 14001/45001 H&S Management systems-managing the quality systems
- Health and Safety qualification - NEBOSH Diploma or higher
- Knowledge of internal auditing and continuous improvement
- Deep understanding of legal health, safety and environmental guidelines
- Facilities Management experience (advantageous)
- Ability to develop a strong working relationship with all levels of employees and promote a culture of engagement, understanding and compliance for all HSEQ policies and procedures
