We are currently seeking a Yard Driver to join our team. As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving vehicles and trailers within our yard and warehouse facility. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

**Duties**:

- Operate yard trucks and other equipment to move vehicles and trailers within the yard
- qualification to drive up to 15 tonne hgv vehicles
- Safely maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and around obstacles
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition
- Communicate with warehouse personnel to coordinate the movement of vehicles
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area

**Requirements**:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a yard driver or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with warehouse personnel
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles, including vans and flatbeds
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong attention to detail

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.67 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
