**Draughtsperson**

**Company details**
- Family run business for over 40 years specialising in various types of steel cutting

**Are you?**
- Degree or HND qualified in relevant Engineering qualification (Preferred but not essential)
- An experienced Draftsman or Junior Draftsman
- Proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD software and Microsoft packages
- Experienced programming press brake and flame cutting machines with training available

**Do you?**
- Have the ability to read both 2D and 3D technical drawings
- Have reasonable knowledge of metal specifications, together with any knowledge of laser cutting.
- Have Bystronic and BySoft experience (Preferred but not essential)

**The Draughtsperson responsibilities**
- Programming Flame cutting machinery
- Programming Bystronic Press Brake Operations
- Efficient part nesting on all sheet sizes
- Support and problem solve customer queries with the sales team
- Effective time management and proactive organisational skills
- Management of job orders and process scheduling
- Identifying possible production improvements and increasing process efficiencies
