JSM Engineering Ltd is a busy, successful specialist subcontractor supplying the construction sector across the UK. With over 40 years experience the company has a solid reputation in the design, fabrication and installation of bespoke architectural metalwork. It’s product range includes Staircases, Balustrades, Handrails, Balconies, Platforms, Walkways and Canopies.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Goods In /Out Operative.
- Unload/load vehicles using FLT/Telehandler/Crane in line with H&S procedures
- Unpack and check goods received against purchase order paperwork
- Initial check of quality of goods received prior to being issued for production
- Collate, pack and label goods ready for despatch in line with despatch paperwork
- Identify and report any quality non-conformances and discrepancies to delivery and dispatch paperwork
- Accurately record and log information on computer systems
- Communicate effectively with relevant department regarding deliveries and dispatches

A similar background working in quality control, stores, warehouse or compound within the engineering /steel industry.

The following would also be advantageous
- A valid Fork Lift License.
- A valid Telehandler License
- Steelwork fabrication background/experience with ability to read engineering drawings
- A full driving licence.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience
