Event Staff- Dog Fest

I am currently working with an organisation who are seeking Event staff to assist at DogFest taking place at Loseley Park, Surrey) on BOTH Saturday 27th of April and Sunday 28th of April.

This event is known as "the ultimate dog day out which celebrates everything we love about our four-legged best friends", so expect a lot of people and a lot of dogs Attendees may partake in a big dog walk route, so you might be required to join them if your position so requires.

**Duties and responsibilities**

Staff might be required to carry out a variety of roles from the following:

- Route Marshal - To be located around the route where participants may need guidance. perhaps walking some of the rote with them.
- To monitor dog welfare and be a point of contact on the route should participants need assistance - will be in contact with Ops team for advice.
- Registration - a team will be required to book in attendees at both the main registration and for the dog show that’s taking place there.
- Haybale race marshal - Ensuring the smooth running and crowd maintenance for this small event - keeping an eye on dog welfare too.

**Skills and experience**
- Must be comfortable around Dogs.
- Must be able to use initiative.
- Must be comfortable dealing with queries from the general public.
- Able to be on their feet for several hours.

Dress code for the event is casual comfortable clothes, also free parking

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 17 per week
