HR Advisor

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a national NVQ training provider in the recruitment of an HR Advisor. This is a full time, permanent role that can be based in either the Sheffield or Chesterfield office. Travel to other regional sites will be required.

The HR Advisor is responsible for assisting with the lifecycle of all employees, you will administer the employee relations and welfare of colleagues whilst adhering to the core company values.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining staff records that form part of the single central register initial and ongoing requirements and reporting accordingly to management.
- Input employee information within the company software SAGE HR, pull and assign reports on utilisation as required.
- Collating employee information related to safer recruitment and ongoing documentation as required, upload into central systems.
- Create updates within the company intranet relating to our people.
- Communicate and log company updates with employees both employed and associate.
- Assist with Disciplinary, Grievance and Welfare Meetings within CIPD guidelines
- Support employee learning and development programs
- Supporting the business with accreditations to include ISO and OFSTED
- Support the HR Manager in any required projects.
- Support the HR Manager with Health and Safety responsibilities.
- All other administration duties related to HR.
- Previous administration experience ideally within a HR or Recruitment background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to follow processes
- Enthusiasm in the workplace
- Work well under pressure
- Strong organisational skills
- Approachability
- A full UK driving license
- Strong excel and other Microsoft office package knowledge
- Minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent
- CIPD Level 3 or working towards this.
- CIPD Level 5 or working towards this.
- Knowledge of Sage HR
