Balfour Beatty VINCI has an exciting opportunity for a **Traffic Safety and Control Officer** to join the team in **Stoneleigh**. You will be joining a highly experienced team on the UKs most prestigious infrastructure project

**What you'll be doing**
- Liaise with the client, police, traffic officers, maintaining agents, contractors and internal construction staff.
- Planning and controlling the works; liaising with all engineering departments
- Input into traffic management design - decisions on layout, CCTV systems, temporary barriers, speed cameras & diversion routes
- Ensuring temporary traffic regulation orders and road space are in place (SRW)
- Ensuring regional control centres (RCC)and vehicle management signs (VMS) are in place
- Assessing work site activities in relation to the traffic management plan
- Communicating the plan to other parties - Implementation of temporary traffic regulation orders
- Recovery operation management
- Emergency routes planning and distribution
- Reporting and dealing with incidents
- Organising and coordinating rolling blocks

**Who we're looking for**
- Familiar with the project life-cycle and able to contribute effectively at each stage.
- Assist where possible with the development of the construction methodology.
- Fully aware of the resource required to effectively complete a section of work.
- Manage site activities to ensure works remain on target.
- Knowledge of Employment Legislation.
- Knowledge of Industrial Relations.
