The Sir John Colfox Academy is a highly successful school in a beautiful part of Dorset. It offers a wide range of courses at GCSE and A Level as well as a wide variety of extra curricular activities.

The School was inspected in March 2018 and was judged to be ‘Good’ in all areas.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced middle leader to become a new member of our Senior Leadership team as SENDCO.

Our new SENDCO will be:

- Experienced working in SEND and hold or willing to undertake training towards the SENDCO qualification
- Passionate about education and committed to improving the life chances of all our students and in particular those with additional need
- An exceptional practitioner who has demonstrated sound leadership and management skills and is making a difference in their current school
- A creative and strategic thinker
- Committed to an inclusive environment where the wellbeing of staff and students is paramount
- Passionate about Teaching and Learning
