Transport Planner

One of our prestigious clients is looking for an experienced transport planner.

You will be joining a family run same day courier business.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Effective management and planning of drivers, through ongoing communication and using our state-of-the-art transport software.
- Utilise excellent geographical knowledge and ability to oversee the country, routing the most efficient destinations together.
- To ensure the daily plan is completed in real-time managing resources effectively, maximising utilisation whilst minimising cost.
- Ensure that our internal tracking systems are kept organised and updated to an exceptional standard.
- Make regular use of in-house planning tools and systems to manage workload and monitor efficiency.
- Understanding and achieving key performance targets relating to the efficiency of our work and costing. - Ongoing presentation of ppm and rates per route will be required.
- Constantly communicate with our customer service teams and drivers to ensure customer KPIs and targets are achieved and maintained.
