Suffolk County Council has a great opportunity to join the Public Health and Communities directorate as a **Administration Officer** (Governance Officer), based at Endeavour House, **Ipswich with flexible and hybrid working options**.

**Your role and responsibilities**
- Managing a busy administration team who support the Public Health and Communities directorate.
- Co-ordinating the business and administrative support team, including the monitoring of work programmes, achieving work priorities and resolving problems, including those escalated by the team.
- Developing and implementing consistent, efficient business support and administration processes for the directorate.
- Plan, resource and work business support projects and programmes in line with the demands of the directorate and performance reporting cycles.
- Line Managing a busy team, supporting the development of the team including those undertaking apprenticeships.
- Optimise the ICT systems and administrative processes that support the work of the team by co-ordinating requirements, implementing process improvement and identifying training needs.

**You will need**
- experience managing and developing a team
- the ability to plan multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
- good IT skills including Microsoft packages.
