**Position**:CNC Machinist

**Hourly Rate**:£14 plus 27.5% shift premium

**Shift Pattern**: 12 hour shift rotational days and nights 6 - 6

**Location**: Wirral

**Job Purpose**:
This role will include machining vehicle components by reading and working from engineering drawings

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Loading and Unloading Machining fixtures
- Setting our range of Five Axis and Three Axis Machines
- Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier’s, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges
- Carrying out regular Maintenance and Cleaning of Machines and Tools.
- Good understanding of CNC Programming
- A good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances
- Good understanding of component drawings
- Fanuc Controller experience would be beneficial

**Experience**:

- Prior experience using an CNC Machine
- Experience of working to ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 quality approvals
- Experience of working in the aerospace/defence/automotive sector

**Qualifications**
- Time Served Apprenticeship

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £17.85 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Night shift
