**Job Summary**: As an Estimator at our architectural stone company, you will play a pivotal role in our project development process. You will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and timelines for stone fabrication and installation projects. Your attention to detail, technical knowledge, and ability to collaborate with various teams will contribute to the successful execution of complex stone projects.

**Responsibilities**:
Review architectural plans and specifications to understand project requirements.

Collaborate with the sales team, architects, and clients to gather essential project details.

Analyse project drawings and blueprints to quantify and estimate required materials and labour.

Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for stone fabrication and installation projects.

Research and source stone materials from reliable suppliers while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality.

Collaborate with the production team to understand fabrication processes and provide input on cost optimization.

Work closely with project managers to align cost estimates with project budgets and timelines.

Keep abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new stone products to ensure competitive bidding.

Attend project site visits and meetings to assess on-site conditions and address potential challenges.

Maintain detailed records of project estimates, revisions, and any additional changes.

Continuously improve and streamline the estimation process for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as an estimator in the architectural or construction industry, with specific knowledge of stone materials and installations preferred.

Strong proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

In-depth understanding of stone materials, fabrication techniques, and installation processes.

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to perform precise cost calculations.

Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools used for estimation.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
