Forklift Driver

On behalf of a distribution client in Newbury, M4 Recruitment are seeking a Pivot Steer Counterbalance Forklift driver for an immediate start in a temporary to permanent position.

As a Pivot Steer Counterbalance Forklift driver, your main duties would be as follows:

- Operating the Counterbalance forklift: moving Pallets, loading and unloading of the Lorries.
- Assisting other crews to complete work when requested to do so.
- Stacking shelves
- Ensuring that you maintain a courteous and professional demeanour at all times your colleagues and management team.
- Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to maintain a safe, clean working environment and service to our customers.

This role requires someone reliable and hard-working who is prepared to commit to 40 hours during the week.

To be a successful applicant for this Pivot Steer Counterbalance Forklift driver role, you will be required to have the following skills / experiences;
- Must have a Pivot Steer / Counterbalance forklift license or an in house certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues
- A team player
- Reliable, punctual
- The ability to follow detailed processes to ensure the Health and Safety procedures are followed.
- Be comfortable working with a wide range of people and have the ability to be a good ambassador for the contract and business in all interactions.

Public transport is available for this location

Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Pay is between £11.50 + Overtime is available
