Laser Operator

MSM aerospace fabricators is a leading manufacturer that specialises in hydroforming and welded fabrications. As a result of continued investment and expansion, they have an opportunity for a Laser Operator to join them on a permanent basis.

The post holder will have gained experience of reading and working from engineering drawings and design drawings and be able to work with all types of measuring equipment in an ISO Quality environment.

**Must have**:

- Setting and operating laser cutter - flat bed experience as a minimum
- Experience of working to a data card to load and set fixtures, input programs, and obtain 1st off inspection.

**Desired**:

- Familiarity with Trumpf laser cutters or with Siemens CNC controls.
- Knowledge of laser cutting parameters and effects on cut quality.
- Operating 5 axis CNC laser cutter.
- Able to identify and report defects from laser cutting.

- Hours of work 37 hours Monday to Thursday
- Holiday Entitlement 5 weeks + statutory or public holidays which fall within your normal working pattern
- Attractive Pay rates and overtime rates (level dependant)

- Salary: £13.12-£14.43 per hour dependant on experience
- With overtime £19.68-£21.65 per hour dependant on level
