About you

**The role**

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Laboratory Administrator to assist with the daily running of the Lab Admin function. This role will be responsible for sample management; including retain, purchase ordering, sample requests, external testing and sample delivery. This role requires a high attention to detail and strong organisation skills. This role allows the opportunity to directly contribute to the growth and development of a team and department.

**What will I be doing day to day?**

Maintaining KPI's within the cell structure
- Booking in process by established SOP's of all internal and 3rd party products
- Processing resamples requests for additional testing
- Maintenance of Finished goods and Raw Materials retained stores
- Processing purchase orders for consumables and equipment for the Quality Department
- Packing note filing and archiving
- Basic problem solving
- Assisting with continuous improvements and identify possible new improvements
- Anticipate problems and put in place corrective actions
- Assisting in relation to out of specification results and investigations
- Assisting in the introduction and validation of new methods and equipment as required
- Performing Customer Experience checks
- Scoop weight analysis and reporting
- Undertake/Deliver training as required by Nutricia
- Comply with Health and Safety Standards
- Maintenance and writing of new SOP's
- Deputise for other team members in relation to Sensory analysis, External sample reporting and Booking in process
- Engage, support and assist with departments GLP program
- Maintenance of external cross charge spreadsheets
- Assist with raising maintenance requests for the department
- Assisting the Quality ambition, particularly "Right First time" across the Liverpool manufacturing site
- Continually improve systems and processes within the Quality function
