Counsellor

Service Care Solutions are working with our established Client to recruit an experienced Counsellor on a Permanent basis. Our client is a nationwide charity providing a wide range of support to people with mental health needs. This is a Hybrid-working opportunity which includes both remote working and office working.

**Job Purpose: Counsellor**

**Pay Rate**:£33,706 to £40,588 per annum (pro rata)

**Location**:Bootle/Southport (Hybrid Working available)

**Contract**:37.5 Hours (Monday to Friday) | minimum of 3 days for Part-time hours.

**Role Purpose**:
You will carry a caseload of clients who have been assessed as benefitting from Counselling for Depression, working within a clear service specification, and supported with high quality clinical supervision. The service currently works in a hybrid way, delivering face to face sessions, as well as video and telephone appointments. This is driven by client demand. You will work alongside practitioners delivering other modalities eg. CBT, EMDR, and be committed to work in an 'IAPT focused' approach.

**Essential**:

- BACP Accreditation
- CfD Trained
- Experience managing a case load

**Desirable**
- Experience in delivering short-term counselling, ideally in primary care
- Experience with, and comfortable using clinical questionnaires
