Due to new group projects, a vacancy has become available within the Calisen IT department for a SQL Server Developer. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a business with an exciting IT Strategy and roadmap.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Create, develop, and maintain SQL Server systems and processes ensuring optimisation and stability
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Database design and documentation
- Following change management processes for development, code review, and release.
- Testing database processes and performing bug fixes
- Fixing any issues related to performance
- Implementing best practice for SQL authentication and security
- Develop best practices for database design and development activities
- Supporting the business in extracting information

**What we are looking for**
- 5 Years SQL server programming experience; Error Handling, Transaction Management
- Query optimisation
- Experience of ETL/ELT data processing techniques
- Able to challenge the 'as is’, look for improvement opportunity
- Excellent team working skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into Technical Specs
- Work with external partners and resources
- Microsoft SQL Server training and qualifications plus any previous experience in AZURE; SQL, Data Factories, Power Platform, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) would be desirable
