12.5 hours per week 11.30 - 14.00

**Location**:Bridgwater Campus

The Catering Service at Bridgwater & Taunton College is part of the Area of Student Experience. The service provides snacks to staff and learners throughout the day alongside serving full meal deals at break and lunchtimes. The service also operates very occasionally at weekends and evenings to cater for events and commercial functions, although this is very rare.

The bulk of the service’s income is generated during the learner’s term-time and there is also a significant number of staff who work all year who provide a further income.

The role of the Catering Assistant is to assist in the delivery of a high-quality service within our Main Restaurant, The Food Court. Along with the rest of the Catering team, the overarching and fundamental purpose is to contribute to a positive, inspirational journey for all students who choose to study at Bridgwater and Taunton College
