Lunchtime Supervisor

**LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR - KINGSWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL**

**Grade & Scale point**:1, scp 1
**Salary**:£20,258 Full time equivalent, £4,572 Actual, £10.50 per hour
**Hours of work**:10 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 11.30am - 1.30pm
**Contract**: Permanent, Term time only (190 days per year)
**Start date**:ASAP following pre-employment checks

Kingswood Parks Primary School is part of Humber Education Trust. Our school is rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted and continually strives to improve further. Our school is oversubscribed and has capacity to cater for 630 with a 52 place Foundation 1.

Due to continual growth in pupil numbers we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team.

You will be expected to care for the children by providing excellent supervision and planning/carrying out play activities including team games and collaborative activities.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Supervision of children throughout the midday lunch break.
- Helping with supervision in the dining hall, during the service of meals, ensuring good eating habits and table manners.
- Plan and deliver games with the children on the playground, encourage group play.
- To resolve any behavioural issues efficiently following the guidance of the senior leaders.
- Care for sick children and those with minor injuries/ailments, providing basic first aid treatment when required

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- Experience working with children with varying ages and backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organise activities that engage children
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A first aid qualification or be willing to undertake training
- A knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
