We currently have a great opportunity for a Depot Operations Supervisor to join our friendly team in Great Yarmouth. This a full time and permanent vacancy, working 40 hours Monday - Friday.

We are offering a competitive salary for this position, and as a Depot Operations Supervisor you will support the Depot Operations Manager in managing the day to day logistics operation of the Great Yarmouth depot; including Health and Safety, Legal Compliance and Operational Excellence. Ensuring that all orders are delivered in an efficient manner whilst supporting the depot to achieve its profit and loss targets in both volume and cost terms.

In this role you will be expected to manage vehicle/driver compliance in line with company policies & procedures, including: regular inspections, WTD, Tacho Analysis while assisting the Depot Manager in challenging and driving down operational costs by ensuring best practices are adopted and followed. You will also be expected to carry out the day to day depot activities of loading / unloading vehicles, preparing driver loads & dealing with customer collections.

**We're looking for**:

- Previous line management experience is desirable
- Knowledge of previous work within the Logistics/distribution industry is desirable
- Knowledge of EU driving hours / WTD is a necessity
- Knowledge & experience of working with Gas distribution is desirable
- CPC desirable
- Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise
- Good listening skills
- Excellent communicator
- High degree of self-motivation
- Resilient, persistent and tenacious
- Experience of conducting appraisals / performance management is desirable
- FLT driving license
