Npd Apprentice

**Overview of role**:

- Location: BradfordWe are Speedibake, a Proud Yorkshire Bakery. Established in 1984 we are one of the market leaders in the supply of frozen baked goods and are part of Associated British Foods plc, which is a £17.0bn FTSE 100 company.- This is a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice NPD Technologist to join Speedibake.**Key Accountabilities**:

- To be fully conversant with our health and safety operating practices
- Support the Concept and process Managers and Technologists in managing projects from concept to launch for their given customers
- Support in preparing for customer meetings and presentations
- Supporting the Concept Technologist by helping with product make up, upkeep of project paperwork, benchmarking, internal product sampling and preparation of customer samples/submission forms, and sample collection.
- Supporting the Process Technologists by helping with, paperwork generation, trial data collection and support, pre pro and launch support.
- Supporting Senior packaging technologist with tasks such as packaging and artwork checks
- Helping with market reviews and store audits.
- Partake and support in any other NPD activity or task as and when required
- Pro-actively engage with the factory and understand the site’s capabilities and processes**The Right Person**:

- Essential
- Demonstrate a good level of Health and Food Safety awareness
- Numerical, reading and information recording skills.- Advantageous- Understanding of baking process
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (CIEH Level 2) IOSH or equivalent
- Ability to demonstrate basic engineering competencies/mechanical empathy
- Understanding of Continuous Improvement techniques
