As a workshop joiner you will be involved in the design, cutting, and building of enclosures using different types of wood. The job role of a workshop joiner involves the following duties: Measuring, marking up, cutting, shaping, fitting and finishing timber.

**Duties**:

- Assemble and install wooden components according to specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth wood
- Fabricate enclosures from install doors,
- Work with other tradespeople to complete projects
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

**Skills**:

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking
- Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail for precise measurements and cuts
- Knowledge of painting techniques for finishing touches
