Truss Labourer - Permanent Position - Redditch

**What does the role involve?**

Due to continued growth, we are looking to employ and train a Truss Labourer. We are looking for both skilled and unskilled labour, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn a new trade/skill. It would particularly suit someone who is looking to re-train.

You will need to be physical fit, have a keen eye for detail and quality. You will be required to assist our Setters and learn to read drawings, measure timber, work to deadlines, adhere to health & safety and learn to use machinery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Loading timber onto Truss Bed
- Unloading Trusses (Triangles) off the Truss Beds
- Undertake training to stay relevant and up to date.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- Physically able to move timber
- Reliable, hardworking
- Good timekeeping

**Desirable skills**
- Ability to interpret and work from drawings / cutting lists accurately preferable.
- Previous setting experience in Roof Truss manufacturing would be a benefit
- Driving License

- Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-13:00
