About the role
Part of the Distribution Centre team that provides great service to our stores, ensuring customers have great availability and standards of product by completing time and attendance administration activities so our colleagues are paid accurately and on time. Ensures that all pre-booked absence and shift changes are entered onto Workforce Central in advance and completes the exceptions routines for the Delivery Service function getting all payments and absences signed off by the Delivery Service Duty Manager.

You will be responsible for
Provides Administrative support by:

- Being helpful and friendly in all interactions with colleagues and Managers.
- Feeding back to Managers common trends, patterns and concerns with any queries or questions colleagues continually raise.
- Being approachable and confidential; building trust based relationships across the Delivery Service function.
- Being thorough and detailed in everything I do, so colleagues are paid accurately and on time, and we effectively manage our People routines.
- Communicating and handing over to the Delivery Service Team Managers and Clerks/Drivers/Shunters whilst liaising closely with the People Advisors so we are a collective supportive and professional support to everyone in the Distribution Centre.
- Working closely and communicating with the central payroll teams in both the UK and Bengaluru at all times.

Provides People support to colleagues and Managers by:

- Updating the Work Force Central (payroll) system with any amendments to schedules and shift patterns including holidays, sickness and planned absence for the Delivery Service Team.
- Communicating and working closely with the People Advisors so we provide a dedicated and professional support service to our colleagues and Managers.
- Supports colleagues to support themselves by using Our Tesco to obtain people policy information and guidance.
- Completing the pay text file routines to ensure colleagues are paid accurately and on time in the Delivery Service function.
- Provide payroll with any information needed for processing pay for annual hours Distribution Centres. (If applicable)
