**Radiography **Assistant| Spire Cambridge Lea | Competitive salary | Full time, days only |**

We are recruiting for an Radiography Assistant to join our busy Imaging department on a full time basis. You will work closely with our fantastic Radiography team and Consultants in a varied and challenging role, ensuring our patients receive a seamless and supported pathway through our hospital. You will be working face to face with patients, supporting them within procedures but also ensuring that all essential administration needs are met.

This position works days only with shifts between Mondays to Saturday.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Assist the multi-disciplinary team in Radiography by providing an efficient and sensitive supporting role
- Be at the forefront of providing exceptional customer service to our valued patients
- Identifying and reporting any significant changes to that might affect a patient’s health and wellbeing to the appropriate person
- Handling of equipment, medical records and specimens

**Who we're looking for**
- Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
- Experience in the following: ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
