Compliance Engineer

Walter Everett is a recruitment agency and we are currently helping our client to hire a number of Compliance Engineers.

You will be helping to create compliant state of the art smart home and consumer electronic equipment

You will work with multiple stakeholders and enjoy an exciting working environment where personal development is a key value of the team.

What you'll do:
Assess compliance requirements for new and existing electronic consumer products
Support product documentation, risk assessments and compliance reports
Effectively communicate and work with various stakeholders (internal and external) to gather the relevant documentation to maintain technical files
Review product changes impacted by compliance and ensure they are

- implemented in a timely manner.
Support type approval testing on new designs.

What you'll bring:
Knowledge of relevant regulations applicable to consumer products, e.gEuropean Directives: Safety; Electromagnetic Conformity; Radio Equipment; Eco-design Directive
Knowledge of EMC and RF testing
Experience at ensuring UK and European products comply with applicable legislation.
Experience in writing and reviewing risk assessments
Clear communicator able of exchanging ideas and work in a cross functional role..
