We are currently on the lookout for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a collaborative practice that is located on the outskirts of Cheltenham. The RIBA Chartered Practice is well-established with a close-knit team of 18 working in their barn-convertedoffice.
They adore the old-fashioned designs, but put them into a modern climate, using thoughtful and sensitive design. This practice has a great working environment with friendly, sociable office culture.
There are opportunities for social endeavours with weekly yoga sessions, an office garden and a relaxation area.
This innovative and forward-thinking practice work on a variety of different projects in the residential sector - new builds, conversions, listed buildings, and renovations. Their clients and projects are very luxurious/high-end.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting in running projects varying in sizes and prices (£300K - £5MIL+) liaising with clients, working through RIBA stages 0-7, liaison with consultants and specialists, and managing clients' expectations throughoutthe process.
The Role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
- Confident in using CAD
- RIBA Stages 0-7
- High-end residential
- Assisting in the project running at all stages/project management
- Modelling and overseeing other work-development models as well as final presentation models
- Coordinating drawings and detailed information
- Confident in liaising with clients, consultants, and other business professionals (local council)
- Site visits - able to resolve queries on site
The salary for this position ranges from £24K - £28K (DOE).
