We are looking for a dynamic and experienced person to promote and expand the company’s commercial activity to increase and generate revenue as our Commercial Director.

Your day to day:

- Building and maintaining profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
- Developing a roadmap by both property and group in order to create a commercial strategy
- Analyse the business and profit and loss accounts from a commercial perspective to develop overall profitability for the division.
- Have a clear involvement of the hotel weekly forecasting and annual budget planning process
- Support Hotel Head of Sales in identifying, researching and developing new business for the hotels, with a particular focus on establishing strong relationships with key accounts to maximise future opportunities.
- Develop a high performing sales team in conjunction with General Managers, creating a real sales culture for the company

As Commercial Director you will be responsible for increasing market share and net revenue in the managed properties in the Spa Hotels & Lodges and Smaller Hotels, directing and motivating the sales force, leading distribution strategy and sales.

This role will need to have a thorough understanding of the market place and future trends, leading the hotels through a commercial landscape, maintaining a healthy trajectory of growth whilst avoiding obstacles in an ever changing market.

We need all of our teams to be 100% focussed on driving revenue at every single opportunity whilst delivering the exceptional hospitality we’re known for.This role will be instrumental in driving this change.

The person in this role will need to have an entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking out and developing further revenue opportunities in all areas, which includes food, drink, bedrooms, spa, meetings and events. You will have significant experience ina senior level role, multi-site and proven to deliver results. You will demonstrate an excellent understanding of the financial planning of a complex organisation. You will have the ability to operate and communicate as part of a multisiteteam, with demonstratedability to lead and develop a team. Having a proven track record in the hospitality industry is preferable, but not essential

This role is home based with significant travel to our properties (about 60% of your time)
