Due to our continued success and expansion, we currently have an opportunity for an accounts clerk.
The accounts clerk will be responsible for high-volume multi-entity work along with assisting resolving supplier queries and working through historic balances. This will include posting lettings, block and UE invoices, along with generating payment run proposals on a weekly basis (alternating between lettings and block).
Essential skills needed to succeed in this role:
- Understanding of both purchase and sales ledger
- Experience of service charge accounts
- Extensive experience of utilising accounting software
- Ability to prioritise and manage workflow
- Able to process invoices accurately and escalate issues to team leaders
- Strong Excel knowledge
Ideal but non-essential:
- Experience working within a multi-entity organisation/confident with intercompany invoicing
- Confident reconciling supplier statements
- Experience of Xero accounting software
- Knowledge of Arthur property management software.
