**Goods in Stores Coordinator**

**Duration: 6 months initially (potential to be extended)**

**Hours: 37.5hrs - Shift pattern - Can start between 6:30 and 9:30 and finish between 15:30 and 18:30 with the option of finishing at 12:30 on Friday.**

**Pay rate: £11.90 per hour**

**Skills/ Experience**:

- Someone with previous experience of working in a warehouse or Goods receipt/despatch environment is preferred
- Someone who is familiar with the process of receiving and checking goods in and out of a warehouse operation including order picking and packing of goods
- Current forklift licence (counter balance) is preferred but not essential
- Someone who can work on their own or as part of a team, work well with other people, communicate effectively within the team

**Main role responsibilities include**:

- Receive parcels in the morning and processing PO's / delivery notes into SAP in the afternoon
- Receive pallets and book the same way before they go into the cell
- Interim packing in between processing / administration
- Receive and unload stock from suppliers, couriers, and engineers ensuring all received goods are booked into SAP
- Pack and dispatch goods from the factory into boxes and pallets, and record details on SAP
- Book deliveries onto Couriers' logistics systems
- Move and store all stock in and out of the warehouse in a safe and tidy manner and which is also in-keeping with the company's health and safety guidelines
- Log parts into our traceability system whilst ensuring accuracy and contractual and company confidential information
- Answer incoming calls promptly and in a polite and courteous manner
- Notify the Logistics Controller of any stock and process related issues that become apparent on a day to day basis
- Be aware of safety at work and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible by following all Health and Safety Procedures
