Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a manufacturing business in the Pontefract area of West Yorkshire to find an experienced Payroll Manager who has experience of benefits and of managing improvement projects.
This is a 6 month FTC with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office, the rest from home.
The role is paying £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main responsibilities:

- Prepare payroll and benefits information for 400-500 employees for the UK arm of the business
- Provide current external Payroll company with information needed to process payments
- Review current processes, identify areas of potential improvement
- Work with the HR Manager and other Head Of's to make them aware of any current issues and areas of inefficiency. Implement changes where necessary
- Draw up plans to bring Payroll in-house
- Previous experience as Payroll Manager essential (this role doesn't manage a team, so prior experience of team management isn't necessary)
- Previous experience of managing improvement projects essential
- Immediately available to start or on very short notice essential
- Experience of doing a Payroll Manager position within the Manufacturing sector highly desirable
- Experience of working in a large, complex business highly desirable
- Prior experience of benefits desirable
- Experience of bringing payroll in-house desirable
