The Salvation Army, Sale Corps operates a busy Community Programme, which works to meet the needs of the local community and support the work of The Salvation Army.

We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner - the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty and integrity are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the building: including ancillary rooms, offices and entrances.
- Cleaning all horizontal and vertical surfaces.
- Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floor
- Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces and floor, emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing rubbish.
- Informing the Community Manager of cleaning supplies needs
- Previous cleaning experience
- Be able to work alone and use initiative
- To have knowledge of Health & Safety
- A willingness to learn and be trained if their experience is limited
- Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army
