Workflow Coordinator

Pets At Home are moving to Stafford We are getting to ready to open our brand new fulfilment centre in Redhill, and with the move there comes some new and exciting opportunities to join the Pets At Home Logistics & Distribution Team. Right now we are looking for Workflow Coordinators to join us.

**The Role**:
The workflow coordinator is responsible for supporting the allocation of work in the most efficient manner throughout the Stafford Fulfilment Centre. As a key role to work flow, the coordinator will identify trends in historic and current data to inform new and effective ways of managing work flow, taking ownership and contributing to the overall success of the Stafford Fulfilment Centre service delivery and targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Site Shift Manager responsible for supporting the allocation of work in the most efficient manner throughout the Fulfilment Centre.
- Cluster, prioritise and allocate work tasks through the JDA Task Management System.
- Monitor work flows (putaway, replenishment, picking, sortation and loading tasks) to support all operational areas are successfully achieving KPI’s.
- Liaise with Site Shift Managers to allocate appropriate resource to fulfill work volume.
- Ensure orders are systemically fully processed to the point of shipping in line with the loading schedule.
- Monitor work flows within JDA Task Management System and communicate with Site Shift Managers to ensure that areas of priority are being adhered to.
- Liaise with First Line Managers to gather information on operational progress in order to identify any potential operational challenges.
- Identify and escalate any operational risks to the Site Shift Manager.
- Report any short allocations to stock control for further investigation.
- Complete regular operational reports, handovers and key performance indicators (KPI) management.
- Responsible for developing a collaborative relationship with internal teams to ensure that communication within the operation is consistent and effective.
- Will act upon and follow up any other reasonable requests as identified by senior management.
- Monitor Microlise TMS to ensure that all orders have interfaced correctly at the specific times.
- Control the manual promotional schedule, ensuring JDA is updated accordingly with correct load identification.

**You will bring with you**:

- Knowledge and experience of mechanical handling equipment, relevant warehouse management systems and an appreciation of transport management systems.
- Knowledge and experience of service level agreements (SLA’s) and KPI’s.
- Experience of Microsoft packages being proficient in use of Excel
- Knowledge and experience of resource planning and work allocation.
- Effective two way communication with all members of the Warehouse and Transport teams.
- Ability to identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Energy and tenacity to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- Focused and analytical approach to tasks.
