**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Civil Enforcement Officers to join our parking team during our busy summer period. As a Civil Enforcement Officer you will spend most of your day outdoors carrying out high-visibility patrols in our inland and coastal car parks. As well as issuing PCN’s for non-compliance, you will be a front-line ambassador for the Council, helping with directions and local information, as well as supporting motorists to use our ticket machines and online payment methods.

**About you**
Positive, friendly and enthusiastic, you will enjoy spending time outdoors and interacting with the public. You will not be afraid to challenge, but will also have a well-rounded approach that defuses potentially confrontational situations. Flexibility and self-motivation are very important for this role as you will often be working alone in all weather conditions. You will need to be comfortable using mobile technology, and prepared to carry out low level maintenance on our ticket machines. This role operates on a shift-rota basis, and therefore evening and weekend working will be required.
