Children's Speech and Language Therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 Children’s Speech and Language Therapists within our Children’s Therapy team in Lincolnshire.
We are passionate about delivering high quality, evidence-based care. Partnership working is key to our work and we strongly believe that empowering parents/carers and professionals to support children's speech, language and communication needs is invaluable in effecting change.
As a team, we would describe ourselves as; caring, supportive, friendly, dedicated and innovative.
We are a values-based employer and firmly believe that employing the right person to join our team is paramount and once in the team, we can foster and nurture your clinical skills and knowledge through a range of peer support, CPD and shadowing/training opportunities.
Both posts involve working with children aged 0-19 with a wide variety of speech, language and communication difficulties in community clinics and schools.
Within these roles, you will have opportunities to; assess and diagnose children with speech/language/communication needs, plan and deliver therapy, empower parents/carers and professionals to support children with SLCN, as well as carry out peer social communication assessment clinics as part of our new Autism Diagnostic Pathway. You can also expect to receive weekly dedicated CPD time alongside the rest of the speech and language therapy team.
