A Principal Commercial Officer is required to on an initial 12 month contract, with the possibility of an extension for our Defence client based in Barrow.

**Rate**

PAYE - £66.76

Umbrella - £86.75

**Overview**

As a member of the Commercial team and community within a business and function the Principal Commercial Officer will manage the effective deployment of corporate Commercial processes. Will contribute to the delivery of the functional IBP. Deliver and manage contracts within control, planning pricing negotiating drafting executing managing and closing as per role.

**Key skills**
- Developing and managing the commercial relationship with the customer community. Manage and resolve customer queries and issues in areas of responsibility, escalating significant problems as appropriate.
- Preparation of bids in line with the Life Cycle Management (LCM) Request for Bid Approval (RBA) Process.
- Review, draft, negotiate and finalise contracts and commercial agreements and support with complex contracts
- Lead the preparation and presentation to Senior Management of Life Cycle Management (LCM) reviews and RBA process, ensuring the necessary approvals are obtained within the governance of the operational framework.
- Manage commercial contracts and the commercial elements of the LCM and TBA process within own possession
- .Understand the financial and pricing requirements of commercial contracts.
