Private Nanny

Brand new part time Nanny role in Prestbury. Starting May 2024

Lovely family who have just moved to Prestbury are looking for a sweet natured and fun Nanny to help care for their 3yr old and newborn baby and also support mum as she is having C section.

Mum is having the new baby in April.

Due to dads work schedule the family are looking for three days a week (one of which is on a weekend)

Mondays 10-6

Wednesdays 10-6

Saturdays 10-6

£16-£18 ph depending on experience.

The family employs separate cleaner so it’s just nursery duties. Mum is keen for the nanny to prepare healthy meals for the 3yr old.

Mum is happy for the nanny to attend local groups and classes with the 3yr old.

Must be a driver with own car

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Follow parents' instructions regarding routines, discipline, and any specific care needs
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR (preferred)
- Ability to adapt to different parenting styles and household rules

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £15.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
