The primary role of this apprentice position is to assist in the creation and editing of digital content across a variety of online and social media platforms, working alongside the Media Manager. This content will be used to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The apprentice will be responsible for editing early drafts of media content as part of the overall content creation plan or campaign. The goal is to help grow the organisation's online presence through compelling media while gaining valuable experience in the field.

Person Specification:
**Essential Qualifications**
- GCSE’s or equivalent

**Desirable Qualifications**
- A-Levels, Degree or coursework in Media Studies, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

**Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Good skills in content creation across various digital platforms.
- Good level of written communication skills for a range of audiences and digital platforms.
- Ability to review, monitor, and analyse online activity and provide recommendations and insights to others.
- Ability to respond efficiently to enquiries using online and social media platforms.
- Logical and creative thinking skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility, use own initiative, and have a thorough and organised approach.

**Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Familiarity with Digital and Social Media Strategies.
- Experience with building and implementing digital campaigns across a variety of digital media platforms.
- Understanding of how teams work effectively to deliver digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience with measuring and evaluating the success of content marketing activities through analytics.
- Experience operating effectively in their own business’s, their customers’, and the industry’s environments.
- Understanding the principles of content marketing and how it can be leveraged to work together with other marketing strategies.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the creation of engaging content for a variety of digital platforms.
- Editing early drafts of media content under the guidance of the Media Manager.
- Using digital tools effectively for content creation and distribution.
- Collaborating with the Media Manager and the wider team to implement digital campaigns across a variety of digital media platforms.
- Reviewing, monitoring, and analysing online activity and providing recommendations and insights to the Media Manager.
- Responding efficiently to enquiries using online and social media platforms.
- Learning to operate effectively in the organisation's environment, as well as understanding the customers’ and the industry’s environments.
- Gaining understanding of the principles of content marketing and how it can be leveraged to work together with other marketing strategies.

**Apprenticeship Summary**:

- Qualification: Level 3 Digital Marketer
- Duration: 18 months programme.
- Must have achieved Maths and English GCSE's to a grade C/4 or above (or functional skills equivalent).
- Training provider: LMP Education (Rated 3rd best apprentice provider across the UK).
