**Job responsibilities**
Working as a Finance Assistant your role will include:
- Invoice processing for sales and purchasing, including both stock and non-stock items.
- Assisting the Management Accountant with production of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
- Working alongside the Financial Controller and Management Accountant to prepare budget, forecast and cash flow information.
- Support management and commercial leaders with reporting and data for decision making - both regular and ad hoc.
- Analysing and summarising nominal ledger transactions.
- Providing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Liaising with auditors and other advisors when required.
- Identifying trends and looking for business improvements and cost savings.
**Skills required**
- Part or fully qualified bookkeeper or Accountant with at least two years work experience post qualification.
- Ability to translate data into relevant business information.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Looks to continually improve processes and find smarter ways of working.
- Friendly but professional approach, good at building excellent working relationships.
- Excellent IT skills.

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
