**Teacher of Religious Education - Full Time**

Can you engage with young people to welcome diversity and raise awareness of the faith and traditions of different religious communities in order to respect and understand them?

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well regarded RE department within a high performing school. Located in north Worcestershire, the school has fantastic transport links. By car, it is easily accessible from Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Stourbridge,Halesowen and south Birmingham, and there are main train lines between Kidderminster, Worcester and Birmingham.

This popular school are looking to secure an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Religious Education like you, to join a well-established team of staff. The department has seven specialist teachers, schemes of learning are well sequenced and studentsmake excellent progress, GCSE results are very good and A level are consistently above national averages.

**You, the successful Teacher of Religious Education will**:

- Hold QTS/ QTLS status
- Provide a secure specialist knowledge of the RE curriculum
- Be a committed and conscientious practitioner with the ability to effectively teach across KS3 and KS4 age and ability range (KS5 is desirable but not essential)
- Promote outstanding behaviour amongst students to create a purposeful learning environment in the classroom
- Have a commitment to promoting the ethos of the school and embed the importance of their values
- Be responsible for the continued promotion of the department and its success
