The Role

Are you a skilled and passionate Toolmaker ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Toolmaker. As a Toolmaker, you will play a crucial role in the design, manufacture and maintenance of cutting-edge tools and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities:
Design and machine precision tools, moulds and dies to exact specifications.

Maintain, repair, and optimise existing tools and equipment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve tooling-related issues to minimise downtime.

Continuously improve tooling designs and processes for efficiency and quality.

Adhere to safety standards and best practices at all times.

Document and maintain records of tooling designs and maintenance activities.

Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of machining processes, including conventional machining - manual milling, grinding and manual turning.

Familiarity with a variety of materials and their machining properties.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Technical degree or certification in Toolmaking or a related field is a plus but is not essential.
