We are seeking to recruit passionate, knowledgeable and dynamic Assistant Psychologists to join our Specialist Sussex-Wide Family Eating Disorder Service (SFEDS). SFEDS works with young people aged 10-18 with Anorexia Nervosa or Bulimia Nervosa and their families, and supports recovery through Evidence Based Interventions such as Maudsley Family Therapy models and E-CBT. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality evidenced based treatment in accordance with NICE Guidelines and National Access and Waiting Time Standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting initial assessments and psychology assessments
- Supporting the facilitation of groups
- Conducting service evaluation
- Audit projects
- Undertaking tasks to enhance the use of routine outcome measures

We are looking for someone with a specific interest and passions for working with young people and families/carers who are suffering from an eating disorder. You will need to be able to work flexibly within an MDT and have well developed interpersonal skills. The post holder will be clinically supervised and managed by a Clinical Psychologist.

The post holder is central to collection of data and auditing of the service, in particular collecting outcome measures and service user feedback. Applicants MUST have experience of working both as a paid Assistant Psychologist and working with children and young people within a mental health setting.

We provide mental health and learning disability care for children, young people and adults across Sussex and for children and young people in Hampshire.

- With easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow and excellent railway links across the UK there is plenty of opportunity for adventure

We’d love you to join our organisation that is rated ‘good’ overall and ‘outstanding’ for caring by the CQC. Our staff agree, in our recent staff survey 82% told us that they recognise that care for patients is our top priority.

**Key staff survey results include**:

Flexibility with working patterns is desirable as we may extend the hours of our service to include some weekend and evening work

SPFT staff have the capacity to work from home remotely where applicable and in agreement with your line manager.
