Position: Technical Buyer

**Salary**: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum DOE
Location: Lancing

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where technology changes constantly which means products purchased needs to change. This means staying one step ahead of the game is important. Currency fluctuations and raw material increase/decrease havea massive effect on the industry.
- Establish the best price from the most suitable supplier
- Visiting / auditing suppliers when necessary
- Develop sub-contract supply chain for outside operations, placement and management of subcontract Purchase Orders
- Expediting of open Purchase Orders, and updating delivery dates within BaaN
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and supply chain to resolve any NC

**Required experience**
- At least 5 years’ experience in Purchasing and supply chain management working in a manufacturing environment advantageous
- Problem Solving
- Good communication skills
- Striving for reduction of cost
