**The Role: Junior NPD Technologist**

This role is based within our head office in Runcorn and has the following main responsibilities:

- Analyse market research, sales data, competitor products, consumer trends and insights.
- Report on new product opportunities based on these insights.
- New product formulation with a view on commercialisation, nutritional benefits and approved claims.
- Upscale from concept to launch effectively communicating with several departments to launch date.
- New product set up on internal systems.
- Develop relationships with external suppliers and contract manufacturers to support the NPD pipeline.
- Supply chain support to minimise risk of interruptions to business.
- Support or carry out trials on new equipment, processes, packaging or ingredients.
- Customer support on nutrition and product enquiries.

- Uses constant self-learning to keep up to date with the latest industry trends.
- An understanding of concept to launch development processes.
- Strong organisational, project management and time-keeping skills.

- Driven self-starter who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
- PC literate - Microsoft Office, nutrition systems, product set up systems, etc.
- Interest in food, health & wellness, fitness or nutrition.
