We are looking for one enthusiastic and highly motivated psychology graduate to work as a band 4 Assistant Psychologists in adult community psychological services across Mid Essex. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of dynamic and dedicated multi-disciplinary teams and to gain experience of Clinical Psychology in the NHS. The contract is 12 month fixed term from the starting date of employment.

The role centres on supporting qualified staff in the running of adult community psychological services. This includes promoting the psychological health and wellbeing of service users waiting for a psychological intervention to start.

Under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist, you will provide psychological and wellbeing reviews over the phone to service users. Under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist, you will also have the opportunity to undertake protocol based psychological reviews of needs, assist with self-report measures, rating scales and semi-structured interviews. There will be the opportunity to shadow assessments, assist with other clinical interventions, when required.
