**About LIVES**

We are a charity and our reach and impact has grown significantly over the last few years as we’ve developed new models and services for supporting the communities of our county. We’ve got an army of volunteers, both laypeople and healthcare professionals, and a small employed team of both administrative and clinical people. We’re currently based in Horncastle but we operate right across the county of Lincolnshire, including the North and North East.

Job Title: Sales Consultant

Location: LIVES HQ, Units 5 - 8 Birch Court, Spratt Close, Boston Road Industrial Estate, Horncastle, LN9 6SB

**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000 (plus quarterly bonus)

Salary dependant on experience

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (Full time)

Responsible to: Head of Revenue

Responsive to: LIVES Leadership Team, Clinical Education Manager, Education Team, LIVES HQ Staff, External Customers and Suppliers

**Job Purpose**

This is a business development role; finding and developing new relationships and then building strong links that create ongoing revenue / training opportunities. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You will be self-motivated; able to thrive using initiative and autonomy but you will also enjoy working as part of a team and pride yourself in providing excellent customer service to everyone you deal with.

You will be working from home; travelling to meet clients and you will be required to attend regular sales team meetings in HQ.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a well-organised, self-motivated, resilient, results-driven salesperson with excellent communication skills. You will be adaptable - willing to change as the organisation grows and develops.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Find new prospects and sales leads
- Meet with potential Clients and present LIVES training solutions
- Sign new clients for training courses and/or medical equipment
- Maintain positive business relationships to provide upsell revenue and client renewal
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Work with Education Ops to ensure client training expectations can be delivered and training capacity is maximised / demand is met
- Raise sales invoices
- Log all sales activity including queries, calls, meetings and other interactions into the CRM system
- Attend related conferences, events and exhibitions
- Support the Head of Revenue in delivering excellent customer service to all clients and prospects
- Deliver regular reports to Head of Revenue regarding sales activity and the market
- Report on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes

You will be self-motivated; working effectively with enthusiasm, energy and resilience both on your own as well as within a team.

You will have strong IT skills and be proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office packages.

A clean driving license is essential and you’ll also need a DBS clearance.

There will be times when you’ll be asked to undertake other tasks or responsibilities as are deemed appropriate.
