Here at GXO **Trafford Park**, we are looking for an **Inventory Controller** to join our team. You will be keeping a close eye on the ‘ins and outs’ of all things stock, to make sure that from start to finish, everything is efficientas it can be. You will be working an any **‘5 from 7’** pattern, on **night** shift, covering hours from **22:00 to 06:00**.

As an Inventory Controller, you’ll benefit from:

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Check and action replenishments daily and actively investigate stock discrepancies
- Update relevant reports and documentation and provide key information to ensure handovers are clear and effective
- Identify stock that is in the wrong zones and escalate as required ensure stock levels are controlled throughout the operation
- Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standard

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Previous inventory/stock control experience
- Understanding of the auditing functions and how to carry out the relevant checks
- Strong IT skills and a good understanding of WMS systems and associated equipment
- Good knowledge of the counting and inventory adjustment processes, as well as knowledge of the ordering and releasing functions
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility is required to meet the requirements of the site
