Learning in the lower years looks like playing and engaging in activities set out indoors and outdoors, there will be some 1:1 learning set out on the plan to achieve with children whilst they engage in their play. Learning in the higher years will have students working and making independent choices to strive towards success, with the assistance of their TAs and Teacher to get them reaching their full potential.

Staff need to be able to look at what it is aimed for the children to learn and use their initiative to be able to support the children to engage in this through their play.

Be resilient - along with the joys of working with children, there will be challenges with behaviour. Patience, understanding and following the behaviour policies are key to developing behaviour management skills.
