£23,000 per year dependent on experience, can be negotiable

Summary
We are currently looking for a HR Administration Assistant to support the business in the delivery of the HR function. Based at our Head Office in Middleton reporting to the HR Manager this role will involve working closely with the HR Manager and Depot Managers to provide HR administration support, as well as being a contact point for employee queries. You will also provide administrative support to the Directors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing administrative and organisational support to the HR Manager and Directors
- Issue all offer letters, statement of terms and any associated HR paperwork to new starters
- General HR Admin duties
- Ensure all relevant ID, certificates and employment documents are received by start date
- Driving License checks for new starters and yearly checks for employees
- Conducting pre-employment checks including RTW checks
- Keeping HR spreadsheets, trackers and all personal files up to date
- Creating and archiving electronic personnel files in accordance with Data Protection legislation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised and able to meet deadlines and manage volumes of work
- Able to cope under pressure and prioritise demands
- Efficient and effective user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills - able to produce accurate documentation, spreadsheets and presentations
- Previous HR Administration experience is desirable, or someone looking to begin their career within the HR Function
