We are supportive, rewarding, inclusive, and our goal is to support all young people to be safe, supported and successful in their transition from care, to supported accommodation and beyond into independence

You will be providing support to young people in care to transition to independent living, you will use your judgement and the good relationship that you will develop with young people to arrange each day around their specific needs at the time, adapting and changing plans at last minute if necessary. This could mean you are supporting with education, attending appointments but all the while promoting independent living skills.

You will have the ability to work creatively to provide safety care to young people promoting self
- esteem and confidence while teaching new skills. You will also work closely with both the young person and their support network creating successful outcomes and transitions into independence.

This is a fast paced challenging but extremely rewarding role and as part of our friendly vibrant and approachable team you will be well supported and work closely with partner agencies to reach the same goal.

Some key duties and responsibilities of the role include:

- Provide a high standard of support to young people resident
- To be a positive role model to young people and maintain high professional standards and boundaries at all times
- Work within and ensure effective delivery of the policies and procedures in the home, and the organisation.

**To complete administrative tasks required to support young people and the home they live in, including but not limited to support plans, daily handovers, daily summaries, weekly summaries, daily logs, petty cash and any relevant accident, incident forms.**

**To educate young people about their rights and encourage young people to exercise their rights.**

**Work as part of a multi disciplinary team both within the home and with external agencies**

Working Hours: 10am - 10:30am (15.5hrs plus £60 sleep in rate between 11pm - 8am) Full time expectation is 10 sleep shifts per month

**Salary starting from £32,550 per annum**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £32,550.00 per year
